Wine Tasting

Our founder, Rosaria Di Giovanna is passionate about all Italian wine, especially those from the vineyards in her native Sicily.

She offers a wide-range of events, from wine-tasting in your home with friends, at a club or society dinner through to large corporate events.

Having run her own restaurant for a number of years, Rosaria also offers advice to restaurateurs and management companies on wines to complement menus and special events.

Wine Tasting Parties

Discover the wide-range of Italian wines with friends in our wine tasting parties, ideal for a special event at home, a club or society.

We will select a minimum of 3 white and 3 red wines for you to try and explain where the wines come from, how they are made and the subtle tastes within them.

We will also advise the types of food they with and the best way to store them.

Cookery parties

For a night-in with a difference, host a cookery party where you and your guests will have fun, learning how to make an Italian feast and enjoying the products of your labour over dinner.

We will work with you to choose the menu and wine, providing all the ingredients. You invite your friends and we will work together to create a fantastic meal for you all to share.

Prices are on request as they depend upon the menu and wines chosen*.

* Please note we are happy to travel anywhere in the UK, although travel costs may be added (see map for further details) [decide where you are happy to travel to FOC then we can add a map showing that are and costs of travel expenses outside that are)

Corporate Wine Tasting Events

Host an event with a difference, serving wines carefully selected by our experts.

• Wine Sampling Our expert will select a minimum of 3 white and 3 red wines for you and your guests to try. We will explain where the wines come from, how they are made and the subtle tastes within them. This can be an event in itself or part of a larger occasion.

• Wine Selection Hosting a special occasion or event? We will help you to choose the most appropriate wines to accompany each course of your meal and help you to source the ones you select.

• Wine Host We will work with you to choose the most appropriate wines to accompany each course of your meal. Our wine host will attend the event and before each wine is served, will describe its origins and flavours.
